Some rooms begin with a design plan.
This one began with a feeling. 🤎
When I first saw this extra room—typically used as a sitting room—I knew immediately it would become my office.
But I never wanted it to feel like a workspace.
I wanted a place where I could dream, plan, create and imagine what might come next.
Travel became part of the room almost naturally. I’ve always loved vintage maps, so I envisioned one covering the wall before I had chosen almost anything else. From there, I began surrounding myself with pieces from my travels and reminders of places I’ve been, along with inspiration for adventures still ahead.
Over time, this room became the place where trips were planned, ideas were scribbled down, dreams grew a little bigger…
…and eventually, one of those ideas became House of Valenova. 🥹
There’s something incredibly special about sitting in a room you created for dreaming and realizing that some of those dreams are no longer just ideas.
They’re becoming real.
