THE STORY BEHIND THE LIVING ROOM
The living room started with one big idea—a media
wall that would give the room a true focal point and
make the space feel warm and inviting.
Once the stone, fireplace and mantel were in place,
the rest of the room came together through soft
neutrals, warm wood tones, greenery and cozy
lighting. It became a space made for relaxing,
settling in and simply feeling at home.
Sometimes one idea is all it takes to completely
change the way a room feels.

Years ago, when my kids were little, I would pick up a gallon of paint for $20-$30 and happily change a room whenever the mood struck. This time, I approached it differently.
I knew I wanted a color and finish I could live with for years, so this was one place I chose to spend a little more for quality and longevity. Requisite Gray was regularly $101.49 per gallon, but I waited for a sale and purchased it for about $60 per gallon.
